Sonova has been ranked on the prestigious Forbes Global 2000 list. Forbes magazine’s Global 2000 is the list of the world’s top publicly-traded companies based on their rankings in four categories including sales, profits, assets and market value.
The yearly Global 2000 ranking, in which Sonova has been listed for the first time this year, identifies the top global companies on a number of critical metrics gauging its total performance. According to Forbes (HYPERLINK: http://www.forbes.com/sites/andreamurphy/2015/05/06/2015-global-2000-methodology/) a company needs to qualify for at least one of the metrics in order to be eligible for the final Global 2000 ranking.
As the world’s leading manufacturer of innovative hearing care solutions Sonova has a long history deeply rooted in the hearing care sector and serves millions of customers in over 90 countries. In 2014/15 Sonova delivered again very solid results overall, with a strong performance in hearing instruments and driven by double-digit growth of all of its businesses in Europe and in parts of Asia. These results demonstrate Sonova’s strong ability to continuously expand its own margins and to effectively convert earnings into cash as shown by the robust growth in operating free cash flow.
“We are very honored to be included in this prestigious ranking,” said Lukas Braunschweiler, CEO of Sonova. “Sonova’s over 10.000 dedicated employees work as a team to serve our customers each and every day in order to provide the most innovative hearing care solutions. Our commitment to pursue our successful strategy of profitable and sustainable growth allowed us to receive this recognition from Forbes Global 2000 rankings.”
